Sze Chuan Mala Butter Prawns

Serves 2-3


70ml cooking sake
300g Prawns
3 tbsp Meraki Sze Chuan Mala Butter, cold
Black pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Chili flakes, optional



  1. Cover and cook till prawn is mostly cooked and reddish.
  2. Remove lid and cook for 3min to fully cook prawns and to reduce liquid in pan.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in cold Mala butter to emulsify into prawn juices. Garnish with chili flakes and serve.
