Japanese Egg Sandwich (Tamago Sando)
Serves 1
Ingredients
3 tbsp mayonnaise (Japanese mayo preferred)
2 tsp Meraki Kombu / Mala Butter, softened
½ small red onion, finely diced
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 pc of white bread
Method
Egg Mayo
- Mix lemon juice with onion, set aside.
- Finely dice one egg, mix with mayonnaise, onion and butter.
Assemble
- Slice the second egg in half, lengthwise.
- Butter one side of each bread and top them with a thin layer of egg mayo.
- Place the halved eggs on top and cover with the other bread.
